Categories: JAS People

John G. Murphy commenced working for John A. Sinnott & Co. Solicitors in 1980 and progressed to Principal in 1992. His vision for this renowned firm of solicitors was to progress the company to meet the demands of a dynamic market, whilst remaining true to the company core values and the legacies of his 4 predecessors.

John is known as a good ‘story-teller’, which helps to explain complex situations to his clients. It is his natural ability to relate to people, their individual circumstances and to foresee outcomes that is integral to the success of the business. John determines the ethos of the company in this way and others follow his example.

This ‘ease of communication’ has led to John being regularly invited to national and regional radio shows, and he is a regular contributor to South East Radio.

His extensive client base spans the country including significant business in Wexford and Dublin, comprising private clients, business and State sectors. He handles extensive areas of law.

He is a member of the legal panels for Criminal Legal Aid, Family Civil Legal Aid and The Mental Health Commission. An accredited mediator with Mediation Forum Ireland Ltd., John is available to facilitate all types of mediation including commercial disputes, debt issues, family matters and inheritance matters.

John is involved in many community-based and voluntary organisations. In his spare time, he enjoys all sport, particularly rugby, GAA, rowing, and soccer.

John is co-author, with Jason Dunne, of “Inheritance and Succession, the Complete Irish Guide”, by Liberties Press, 2008, and also “Make Your Will” in 2009.
