Volkswagen Emmissions

John A Sinnott Solicitors, legal advice

If you own a diesel powered vehicle manufactured by the Volkswagen Group (VW, Audi, Skoda and Seat) are you entitled to claim compensation?

Claims against the Volkswagen Group are possible due to breaches of consumer laws. We may be able to help you recover any repair costs, increased fuel costs, additional depreciation to the value of your vehicle and a range of other possible damages from VW.

Which Vehicles Are Affected?

What is the problem with these cars?

Approximately 11 million cars worldwide have been installed with devices that effectively “cheat” crucial emissions tests.

The global car manufacturer is facing criminal investigations and claims for damages after millions of cars have been sold with the promise that that they would produce much lower emissions than they actually did.  The ‘defeat devices’ used in emissions tests could detect whether a vehicle was being tested and manipulated the results.

We are currently working with people who have been affected by the Volkswagen car emission scandal.
